Cutsey Tootsey Odds & Ends
For the past few weeks, I’d been in search of either a new wallet (mine was bursting at the seems from the ridiculous amount of change I carry) or a coin purse. I didn’t really exactly how challenging it is to find coin purses. My grandmother carried on for years but I started to think they’d become virtually extinct or I just wasn’t looking in the right place.
During one of two retail therapy sessions this past weekend, I visited one of my favorite little shops, Francesca’s Collection. I was certain I’d find one there and I did just that. They actually had quite a few different styles – from those more “organic” looking to flashy sequined ones – but as soon as I found the one with shoes, I knew it was there just for me. Plus, it was only one…and it was on clearance. It was as if it were there waiting just for me.

I’m the woman who has a million and one key chains on my keys. Don’t act like I’m the only one who read the quotes key chains and has to add it to her keys. I know its time to let that go, so I’m shopping around. I recently discovered the Juicy Couture Neon Crest Key Purse. It’s the best of both worlds for me because I also have problems with all of my change collecting at the bottom of my purse. Since, I’m into bright colors, the neon “Juicy” caught my eye. It was originally priced at $68.00 and now on sale for $51.00. I’ve got a feeling it’s going to go down a bit more, so I’ll wait a while before I purchase. The Spring Street Design Group Shoe Key Chain has got to be one of the cuties keychains I’ve seen in a while. I seriously know about five people who would love it. *thinking* It’s never too early to start buying small Christmas gifts, right? The glittering t-strap sandal dangles from a silvertone key ring. The ornament ia about 1 1/2″ in height.

From week to week, I seem to accumulate an insane amount of change. I try to add it to my bank at home because I’ve convinced myself that one day I’ll make a trip Coinstar to “cash in”. After this weekend, I have about six dollars in change. I won’t even try to figure out how I acquired so many dimes, nickles, quarters and pennies, but my wallet can’t take it any more. In fact, I’ve had such a problem with carrying around loose change that the last wallet I had actually slit at the seam because of it.
My current wallet. I say current because I change out every few months. I love this style, but there isn’t much room.

If only this was around during my college years when keychain bottle openers were as important as finding ATMs that dispensed denominations of less than $20. The Married To The Mob B*tches That Booze Keychain would be a great gift for an college-aged drinking girl, not that I advocating it one way or the other or anything…I’m just saying. I just think the saying is pretty cute. #Dontjudgeme
