Perfectly Polished: I Was In The Mood For Warm Jewel Tones

Posted by: Just C  :  Category: Perfectly Polished

I’ve begun to experiment with nail color more and more. Yesterday, I wasn’t in the dark, almost black purple (OPI Siberian Nights or Lincoln Park After Dark) mood. My apologies as I can’t even recall the name of the purple hue. The color on my ring finger, left hand (and index finger, right hand) is called Purple Royal. My signature has becoming always getting a different, but complimentary color on those two fingers. I’ve also started to experiment with designs. :)

I’m ready for Spring so that I can revert back to warmer colors. That, plus I’m just ready for the season to change. Comment and let me know what you think. Want to show everyone what you’re wearing? Give us a Perfectly Polished Peep Show. Simply email me (justc@soleintuition.com) a picture along with the name of the hue (if you remember) and why you chose the style and you’ll be featured.

Perfectly Polished: It Smells Like Team Spirit

Posted by: Just C  :  Category: Perfectly Polished

In honor of the Saints victory over the Indianapolis Colts last night, I’m in an “All Black Everything” mood today. New Orleans is one of my favorite cities and I couldn’t be happier about the win, not just for the team who’d never made it to the Super Bowl before, but for the city as a whole. I was feeling the black and gold spirit all weekend. I opted to even show my team spirit on my nails. My nail tech tried to create the fluer de lis on my nails, but I’m not into such a literal display of support. Nevertheless, check out my black and gold nails. You know I had to add the tiger stripes. I love them.

Perfectly Polished: Sole Intuition Readers Are Feeling The Christmas Spirit

Posted by: Just C  :  Category: Perfectly Polished, The Peep Show

Sole Intuition readers Camdon and @Odara112 (of Gimme That Glow) are all about the Christmas cheer. How cute is that that each opted for a light pink nail lauquer with a Christmas tree?

Odara’s design is on the “all important” ring finger.

12 Days of Gift Giving: Caress Evenly Gorgeous Exfoliating Body Wash

Posted by: Just C  :  Category: Scent-sually Pleasing, Stylish Gifting Ideas

Last night as I watched my favorite-older-cousin-in-my-head Wendy Williams, she gave the entire audience a bottle of Caress Evenly Gorgeous Exfoliating Body Wash. I’ve been a Caress fan for years and keep a bottle of Tahitian Renewal stashed in my bathroom, but I hadn’t come across the Evenly Gorgeous. In fact, I haven’t even seen – or don’t remember seeing – it in my neighborhood Target and I spend lots of time on the soap/body wash isle. I like to have an assortment. I know that I’m super late as my web search indicates that it’s been on shelves for nearly a year. Go figure. In any case, I’ll be buying a bottle over the weekend. I’m eager to get a wiff of the burnt brown sugar. *thinking* That’s got to smell good.

Buy a small basket and add a loofah and eye mask and you have a great gift.

Perfectly Polished: American Apparel Nail Lacquer

Posted by: Just C  :  Category: Perfectly Polished

Considering the fact that American Apparel t-shirts have to be the most comfortable fit ever, I’m confident that the new line of nail lacquer will not disappoint. Plus the polishes retail for $6.00. I really like the Passport Blue as it reminds me of OPI Russian Navy. I also like Download LA. Check out the full color palette at American Apparel and be sure to comment and let me know your favorite hues.
