Anyone who loves bags is after my heart. Don’t get me wrong, I love all things fashion, but handbags are my thing. Well handbags and jewelry and clothes…you get my point. But I digress. I’m not ashamed to admit that I have a major addiction…to handbags. I don’t know where it all began, but for as long as I could remember, I’ve loved them. I still remember the first Liz Claiborne bag I ever had. My mom bought me a navy blue one when I was in 4th grade and I totally thought I was hot stuff. Fast forward through many more labels and my love for handbags remains the same. The jury’s still out on whether my membership to so many member-only sales sites is a good thing. I try my best to delete them or tell myself that I’ll only window shop, but I always manage to somehow get “caught up”.

My latest purchase, the Jessica Simpson Downtown Tote, is on its way to me and I couldn’t be happier. The bag features textured faux leather panels at front and back embellished with antiqued gunmetal studs, two short rolled handles with removable long strap, multiple interior pockets and a zippered main compartment closure.

Some people love shoes. Some love hats. Nail polish. Scarves. Tee shirts. Jeans. I love all of those things, but undoubtedly I have a ridiculously unmanageable, can never have enough, love affair with bags. So much so, that I have two large plastic totes and one shelf in my guest bedroom closet dedicated to them. *leans head to the right and smiles* They make me so happy.  I’m a “big bag lady” by nature, but enjoy the occasional clutch from time to time, so forgive me in advance if you love clutches and feel left out. When in pursuit of a new bag, I sometimes get lost in the matrix and forget that any other styles exist.

The MICHAEL Michael Kors Uptown Astor Large Satchel is classic Just C. It’s available in black, amethyst, lapis (as pictured) and luggage, but this by far is my fave. Basically, I have one of two options. I can add one of those nice little donation buttons to the site and wait for all of my lovlies (read: everyone who reads this) to contribute the the fund. By fund, I mean the upkeep of the site  *whispers* owner. Either that, or I can commit to eating tuna for the next couple of weeks so I won’t feel guilty about buying it. *contemplating*  One of those buttons should be easy enough to add…
