The Private Stash: New Directions Mixed Media Necklace
If you follow me onTwitter, you know that I’ve been hitting up different Belk department stores left and right because they have their annual end of year clearance going on now. It’s virtually impossible for me to resist a great sale so I thought I’d share some of my purchases. One of my purchases from last night was the New Directions Mixed Media Necklace.
I was immediately draw to it because of the it has two elements I love: mixed media and lucite. Lucite, which is basically “fancy plastic” is making a comeback in a strong way. If you ask me, it never really went anywhere, but we’re beginning to see it more and more again. It has the adjustable clasp which I love and I can pair it with just about anything I choose.
Sidebar: My apologies for the picture quality. I need to charge the batteries in my digital camera, which takes all of one hour, but I can’t seem to find the time to do so. I snapped this with my BB in my office under awful florescent lights.
